The Pagosa Cliffs Series actually started with Blue Butterflies and a dare. "Write a story using five overused cliches/tropes then twist them into something off-trope in a genre you dislike or have never written in." I got Romance/Chick Lit for genre, and my five :

1) Athlete, 2) Millionaire, 3) Bachelor Party/Wedding gone wrong, 4) twin babies, 5) mafia.

Then came Milli's storyline (Anemones) and the Pagosa County Sheriffs stories (Stars).

 

Through the theme of surviving trauma and making the choice between "Becoming Bitter or BETTER", Pagosa Cliffs has become a real feeling place with relatable characters that are beloved by many and is now being published by Editingle Indie House, whom I can't thank enough for taking a chance on Pagosa Cliffs and this brain damaged Mama.

For now the original rough drafts are on Inkitt or Wattpad.
